Privacy policy

The Sagha Online app and website show gold and silver prices and a directory of jewelry shops. This page explains what data we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account data: if you sign in, we store your phone number or email (depending on the sign-in method) and the name you enter. You can browse prices and shops without an account.
- Location: if you allow it, we use your location only while you look for the nearest shop. We don't store customers' locations on our servers.
- Shop data (merchants): shop name, address, location, contact numbers, photos, products and branches, which are shown to customers. The commercial register photo is kept in private storage visible only to the shop owner and our team.
- Reviews: your rating and name appear on the shop page.
- Contact statistics: we record when someone opens a shop page or taps WhatsApp, call or location, so merchants can see their visits and so only people who contacted a shop can review it.
- Notifications: if you turn on notifications or create a price alert, we store a random device identifier with your notification settings and alerts so we can send them.
- Merchants' paid requests: the featured or subscription package you chose and the transfer details you entered. Payment itself happens outside the app.
- Ads: the app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID and general technical data to serve and measure ads, under Google's privacy policy. You can reset your advertising ID or limit personalised ads in your phone settings.
- No-ads subscription: bought through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
How we use it
- To show prices and shops for your country and city.
- To run your account and your shop's account, and to verify shops.
- To send the notifications you chose.
- To prevent fake reviews and abuse.
We do not sell your data.
Who can see it
Data is stored with trusted service providers that run the app, such as Supabase (database) and Google (notifications and ads), acting only on our behalf. We may disclose data when the law requires it.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. Data for devices that haven't opened the app in 90 days is deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can edit your name in the app, turn off any notification type, and delete your account and all its data at any time, see the account deletion page.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
